stowmarket: Police officers are today investigating the sudden death of a man in Stowmarket, the force has said.

Officers were called to an address in The Twinnings, off Verneuil Avenue in the town at about 4.45pm yesterday.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said officers are carrying out investigations to determine the circumstances leading up to the sudden death.

“Inquiries are being carried out in respect of the death of a man in his 40s,” he said.

“The death was reported to us at 4.43pm.

“We are treating the death as unexplained.”

He said the man was found dead at the property.
