POLICE are investigating after a break-in at a football club.

The burglary happened at a premises in Bury Road, Stowmarket, at around 1.30am yesterday.

The offender broke into the building and stole a jar of coins which was later recovered by police nearby.

He was white, aged 18 to 19, around 5ft 8ins, of slim build and was wearing a brown winter jacket and brown trousers.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call Pc Daniel Cockrill on 101.
