Stranded squirrel safe after telegraph pole rescue by firefighters

Firefighters were called to help rescue a squirrel stranded on a telegraph pole in Gorleston, near Great Yarmouth, this morning.

A fire crew from Gorleston were called out to assist with the rescue at 9.50am this morning.

They used short extension ladder to help the stuck squirrel make its way safely off the pole.
