A double-decker bus was involved in a five vehicle accident in Sudbury.

The accident happened shortly before 10.10am this morning on the A134 Newton Road close to the Shawlands Retail Park.

Two male passengers on the bus suffered neck pains but there were no serious injuries.

It is thought the initial collision involved two vehicles with others then unable to stop in time.

A Suffolk Police spokesman urged drivers to ensure they left a safe distance between them and the car in front, particularly in wet conditions.
