Designer sunglasses worth £2,000 have been stolen from a chemist in Sudbury.

Two men entered the store in North Street between 11am and 11.30am on Wednesday and made off with 11 pairs of Ralph Lauren sunglasses.

The first man, described as white, around 5ft 8in tall, with fair hair, a beige jacket and chequered shorts, distracted staff, while the other stole the glasses. He is described as white, around 5ft 7in tall, with a light coloured top and shorts.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt Stephen Tully on 101 quoting SU/14/1080. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

As thousands of fundraisers get underway for Red Nose Day today, Comic Relief has unveiled a pot of £60,000 to help benefit good causes in Suffolk and north Essex this year.
