This Sunday is the day they have all been waiting for - after months of training the 2014 London Marathon is nearly upon us.

Runners are now in the final stages of their strict training regimes, with the hard practice runs behind them they are now focusing their minds on race day.

Some are running for charity, others as a personal challenge and some experienced runners are hoping to beat their personal best.

Friends and relatives of those taking part in the annual sporting spectacular have been showing their support by leaving messages of support on our website.

The team at Archant sent health reporter Lauren Everitt a message and said: “Good luck to Lauren running for St Elizabeth Hospice.”

Another message submitted by a proud mum reads: “Good luck to David Gregory, I know you can do it.”

And Lauren and Nessy said: “You’ve already made us so proud Bobby-Boy!”

On reader said: “George Chilvers running for Age UK Suffolk - good luck!!”
While Framlingham Flyer Ali, Lynn and Kim were also sent a message of good luck.

And this message came for Andrew Seymour: “Good luck Andrew, we know you will do it and will be there to support you with you lovely family. Enjoy the experience. Love mum and dad xx

Further messages read: “Good Luck to my amazing cousin Kim Frost. So very proud of you. Love Donna & Chris xx” and “Good luck to Chris camps challenge to run the London marathon, when dealing with Crohn’s disease is a marathon in itself, look forward to seeing you finish.”

And “Michelle Griffen we are so proud of you good luck we are with you all the way love Sarah Paul Scott Jemma xx”

Finally, Marie Grantham said: “Good Luck to Emily Tiplady-Ead and Claire Chowney Whittle.”

Show your support, leave a good luck message here.
