A motorcyclist is in hospital after a crash at the Fiveways roundabout at Barton Mills in west Suffolk this morning.

Police say his injuries sustained in a collision involving a white DAF lorry are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

The rider of a black Yamaha XJ6 was taken to West Suffolk Hospital to be checked over. He was conscious and breathing.

The crash took place on the A11 shortly after 7am and motorists faced minor disruption with the exit for Mildenhall at the roundabout closed for around 45 minutes.

It fully re-opened shortly before 7.45am. No other injuries were reported at the scene.
