Traffic is reported to be flowing well again following delays caused by a car crash at a busy roundabout in this morning’s rush hour.

Suffolk police received reports of a single vehicle collision on the A12 at Martlesham Heath, near the BT Adastral Park roundabout at around 8.30am.

Officers and ambulances were on scene soon after.

A Suffolk police spokesman said recovery had been arranged for the vehicle, a silver Vauxhall Corsa.

The spokesman said “lots of delays” had been expected.

By 9.50am, however, the road was cleared.

The driver was reported to have escaped injury.
