A van fire on the A11 near Red Lodge caused delays for motorists this evening.

The incident, on the northbound carriageway, was reported at 5.15pm today and firefighters and police were called to the scene.

The vehicle involved in the blaze was a transit van and the blaze was brought under control at 5.55pm.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said the incident has caused delays for motorists.
