Concerned EADT readers are sending in their stories and photographs as they battle to get to work.


Helen Kroon emailed in with this dramatic photo, taken by her daughter Lucy, of flooding outside her home in Hessett.

Lucy, 18, works as a nursing assistant at West Suffolk Hospital but she is struggling to get to work because of the high waters.

The stream running through the village is overflowing and the road to Beyton is impassable. Drivers are taking a longer route through Rougham to get to Bury St Edmunds.
