Suffolk/Essex: Three men appear in court charged with conspiracy to commit burglary at schools in East Anglia

West Suffolk Magistrates' Court in Bury St Edmunds.

Three men charged with conspiracy to commit burglary at schools in Suffolk and Essex have had their case committed to crown court.

Liam Cook, Christopher Kerr and Francis Wilding appeared together at West Suffolk Magistrates’ Court in Bury St Edmunds earlier today.

It has been alleged all three men conspired to enter buildings as trespassers in Suffolk and Essex with intent to steal from them.

The alleged offences relate to a string of computer thefts from schools in the two counties dating back to August 2012.

Cook, 26 and of Frinton Road, Kirby Cross, Frinton, Kerr, also 26 and of Halstead Road, Kirby Cross, Frinton and Wilding, 21 of Broadway, Jaywick spoke only to confirm their names and addresses.

The trio were not asked to enter pleas and the case was committed to Ipswich Crown Court by chairman of the bench Mrs Jan Turner-Smith.

All three were released on unconditional bail. They will appear in court on February 27 with a trial window of July 7 to August 15.
