FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a chimney fire at a property in a Suffolk village.

A crew from Wrentham were sent to the incident at Frostenden Corner at around 6.40pm. Crews used their chimney gear to extinguish the fire and had the incident under control within about half an hour.
