Firefighters were called to a vehicle fire in Ipswich this morning.

One crew from the town’s Ipswich East station was sent to the scene, in Shackleton Road, just after 7am.

One hose reel was used to extinguish the blaze.

One crew from Princes Street was then sent to the Felixstowe Docks Junction on the A14 following reports of a road traffic collision.

Nobody was trapped in the vehicle and the crew then carried out safety checks.
