MOTORISTS are warned that some of the region’s major roads will be closed for several hours today and tomorrow as an abnormal load passes through Suffolk and Norfolk.
Parts of a crane are being transported between Great Yarmouth and Felixstowe between 10am and 2pm today and tomorrow, travelling along the A47, A11 and A14.
The A47 Acle Straight will be closed at 10am both days and the A11 will be closed between Thetford and Barton Mills Fiveways roundabout at noon on both days.
Drivers are warned to expect delays and traffic congestion and urged to avoid these routes where possible as there will be no overtaking the load.

These are two ports - Wouldn't it be possible to send them via boat?
