Suffolk: Police investigating two attempted burglaries

Detectives are investigating two attempted burglaries.

A woman discovered a window had been opened at her home in Sweffling around 11.30pm on Thursday June 6 after her dog began barking while outside.

In a separate incident damage was caused to the door of a home at Harling Way, Leiston between 6pm on Thursday June 5 and 2pm the following day, in an apparent attempt to gain entry.

The door was dented and the door frame split.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Suffolk Coastal CID on 101, with reference LE/14/557 for the Sweffling incident or LE/14/559 for the Leiston crime.
