Traffic in the county this evening has been disrupted by several minor accidents.

In Ipswich the Norwich Road is partially blocked in both directions because of a two-vehicle crash which has happened near the junction with Chevallier Street.

Also in Ipswich a crash on Heath Road at Woodbridge Road East is causing slow traffic in the area, although the road is not blocked.

And on the A12 in Blythburgh one lane is blocked northbound near the junction with the A1095.

There are not thought to be any serious injuries involved in any of the incidents.

A woman was recovering in hospital on Sunday after her car left the A137 at Tattingstone during the early hours of the morning.

Two people, reportedly including a 14-year-old boy were taken to hospital in separate stabbing incidents last night.

A young woman was left unconscious and needing hospital treatment after being subjected to a “despicable” sexual assault, police have said.

My husband is never referred to as a “working father”, writes Ellen Widdup.

There is nothing work than getting stuck in traffic jams caused by roadworks.

The southbound carriageway of the A11 near Barton Mills was closed yesterday after a three-vehicle crash.

The last day of February this year will see people across the country indulging in a pancake or two.
