Suffolk: Some traffic problems creating delays on county’s roads

Traffic in the county this evening has been disrupted by several minor accidents.

In Ipswich the Norwich Road is partially blocked in both directions because of a two-vehicle crash which has happened near the junction with Chevallier Street.

Also in Ipswich a crash on Heath Road at Woodbridge Road East is causing slow traffic in the area, although the road is not blocked.

And on the A12 in Blythburgh one lane is blocked northbound near the junction with the A1095.

There are not thought to be any serious injuries involved in any of the incidents.

Heavy rain brings outs the umbrellas in Bury St Edmunds

Today’s Race for Life event in Bury St Edmunds has been cancelled due to heavy raining and flooding at Nowton Park.
