The Met Office has put out a warning covering Essex and parts of Suffolk for Bank Holiday Monday.
The forecast is for rain throughout the day along with some strong winds. The Met Office have issued a yellow warning, meaning the public should be aware of the adverse conditions the weather could create.
Chris Bell from Weatherquest said: “There will be some wet weather. The worst of it will be later in the day.
“We’re expecting it to be cloudy with some light patches of rain in the morning and heavier rain later in the afternoon and into the evening.
“That could even carry on into Tuesday morning and some places will get between 10mm and 20mm, even 25mm in some places.”
Mr Bell said the weather for the rest of the week following the Bank Holiday would be changeable.
