Two cars flipped over and ended up on their roofs in the space of two hours in separate single-vehicle collisions on the A137 near Ipswich.

A woman was treated by paramedics after her silver Rover 25 overturned near the exit for Jimmy’s Farm shortly after 6pm.

That came after a green and grey Subaru Forester flipped over and ended up on its roof on the single carriageway in Tattingstone at 4.15pm.

After this incident, part of the road was blocked near the Station Road and Church Road junctions for several hours before it had fully re-opened by 8pm.

No serious injuries were sustained in either incident, a Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said.
