A tent arson is being investigated by police.

The three-man tent was left unattended on grassland close to the skate park and play area in Ipswich Close, Sutton, on the evening of Saturday, June 7.

The three young men who had been camping left between 9.30pm and 10pm to get some drinks.

On their return they found the fire service on site putting out a blaze, which had destroyed both the tent and its contents.

Suffolk police are treating the fire as suspicious.

Anyone with information should call PC Jordan Giddins at Suffolk Police on 101, with reference WO/14/867.
