Sutton: Police launch arson investigation into barn blaze

POLICE have launched an arson investigation after 300 tonnes of straw were set alight.


The drama unfolded between 11am and 1pm on Sunday in a Dutch barn at a farm in Church Road, Sutton, near Woodbridge.

The fire is being treated as arson and police are asking anyone who may have been in the area between these times and may have seen anything suspicious to get in touch.

Fire crews from Woodbridge and Orford were sent to the scene. The roof of the barn collapsed during the blaze.

Call police on 101 with information.
