Swan Street in Sible Hedingham remains closed this evening after a crash earlier today

A road has been closed in north Essex because of an earlier crash.

The incident involved a car and a motorcycle and took place on Swan Street in Sible Hedingham.

The road is still closed in both directions between the Summerfields junction and Braintree Corner.

A police spokesman said one person had sustained injuries.
