Katherine Jenkins will perform at Thetford Forest in July as part of the Forestry Commission’s Forest Live concert calendar.

The Welsh songstress is the most successful crossover classical artist ever, selling more than seven million albums around the world and winning two Classical BRITS for album of the year.

She last performed to a packed audience at Thetford in 2008, and Miss Jenkins said she could not wait to be back.

“I thoroughly enjoyed my forest debut, which was a little while ago now, so I am delighted to be returning to Thetford Forest again this summer,” she said.

“I hope to see everyone there!”

Miss Jenkins, who was awarded an OBE in the 2014 New Years Honours List for services to music and charity, is performing on Saturday, July 12, just one day after Boyzone after scheduled to appear.
