A community event in Sudbury has seen thousands of people come together to enjoy live music and activities for the whole family.
Party in the Park, which took place on July 23 at Belle Vue Park, was organised by Sudbury Town Council to promote getting fit and healthy and the range of clubs and groups people can join in and around the town.
The family event opened with a procession through the park by Phoenix Suffolk Community Marchers, and activities included climbing walls, bungee trampolines and sing-a-long story time.
There was live music throughout the event, with an acoustic stage during the day followed by acts and bands on the main stage from 5pm.
Event organiser Ami Birrell believed 3,500 to 4,000 people had come along.
She said: “It’s been really busy and everyone has been really involved.
“Everybody has been coming up to me and saying it’s a really good family vibe.”
