Suffolk’s police chiefs will be at the Giles Statue in Ipswich tomorrow to hear the views of the public as they continue their tour of the county.

Tim Passmore, Suffolk’s police and crime commissioner, will join the county’s chief constable, Gareth Wilson, to hear from the public what policing issues are affecting their communities.

The event is part of a the pair’s annual tour around the county, where they meet with residents in seven town centres across the county.

At the start of the tour, Mr Passmore said: “I am hoping for an open and frank two-way dialogue, so please spread the word as I really want to encourage a good crowd.”

The pair have already visited Eye, Newmarket, Sudbury and Beccles with events set for Woodbridge’s Thoroughfare on Thursday, and Haverhill’s Market Hill on Friday.

The pair will be at the Giles Statue, in Queens Street, tomorrow from 11.30am to 1.30pm.
