Archant

POLICE would like to speak to anyone who recognises the two people caught on CCTV at a cashpoint in the Asda Store in Tiptree last month.

Someone had used the cashpoint but was distracted and failed to pick up their cash. The couple in the photographs then picked up the cash, pocketed it and walked out of the store.

Pc Carly Mond who is investigating, said: “This is theft, the money did not belong to the couple and they should have handed it over to store staff.”

Anyone with information about the couple’s identity, or the two people themselves, can contact Pc Mond at the Area Investigation team at Colchester police station on 101.
