Tolleshunt D’Arcy: Man released from car after crashing into ditch

A man who became trapped in his car after the vehicle ended up in a ditch has been released.

Two fire crews from Maldon were sent to the scene in Colchester Road, Tolleshunt D’Arcy, at about 2.45pm today.

Firefighters using a set of cutting equipment released him by 3.25pm.
