Traffic is building up on the A14 towards Felixstowe following a broken down car and a two-vehicle crash on the same stretch of road.
Police were called at around 3.25pm today, Tuesday, August 7, to a broken down Ford Puma which was blocking lane one of the A14 eastbound between Bucklesham and Trimley St Martin, one mile from the Kirton turnoff.
Soon after, police received reports of a two-vehicle collision, involving a Suzuki motorcycle and a white Ford Transit van, in the same location.
A police spokesman said there are not believed to be any serious injuries as a result of the crash.
He said the broken down Ford Puma was not involved in the collision.
He added that recovery was on its way for the vehicles by warned there may be heavy traffic in the area as the vehicles are removed from the road.
