Travel: Highways Agency warns of “significant delays” on A14 after lorry upturns

An overturned lorry has caused significant delays on the A14.

The lorry, which was carrying clothing, overturned in the northbound lane in Cambridgeshire just before 10am.

The Highways Agency has closed the carriageway between junction 23 and the A1(M) and is advising drivers to avoid the area.

Emergency services are on the scene but there are no reported injuries.

Traffic is being diverted along the A14 to junction 22, followed by the A1 northbound, to rejoin the A1(M{).
