One lane of the eastbound A14 near Woolpit has been closed following an accident involving a car and lorry.

Suffolk police were called to reports of a Peugeot colliding with an HGV at around 4,15pm.

A police spokesman said that paramedics had attended although no serious injuries had been reported.

One lane of the carriageway was still said to be closed around an hour later.
