Travel: Two trains cancelled and incident at level crossing

Two trains have been cancelled this morning because of a fault.

Neither the 6.20am Ipswich to Saxmundham service and 7.44am Saxmundham to Lowestoft service will run.

Additionally there has been an incident at Westerfield level crossing involving a lorry.

A police spokesman said one of the barriers had come down on a lorry as it was using the crossing.

However, the crossing has now reopened.

A 50-year-old man from Cambridgeshire who was arrested after a fatal crash on the A140 on Tuesday will appear in court tomorrow to face dangerous driving charges.
