DRIVERS face a relatively trouble-free morning with no serious incidents on the region’s roads.

And rail operator Greater Anglia is reporting a good service on the network.

It will be a cold and cloudy day, with temperatures expected to reach no higher than 5C.

  • I am amazed, not really, having lived in Ipswich all my life, that nowhere on this website or that of the IBC and SCC is there any mention or update on the roadworks in Chevallier street etc that are currently blighting local road travel. A daily roadworks report could be added to this website instead of some of the useless junk that seems to be classified as "news".

Strictly favourites Natalie Lowe&Ian Waite had the Ipswich Regent buzzing with fun, energy&laughter when they brought their Somewhere In Time tour to town last night.

Real or fake? That’s the question Ipswich crowds may be asking when they turn out for a festival formed entirely of tribute acts.

Volunteer lifesavers were called to rescue a yacht in difficulty off the Essex coast yesterday.

Could you open your home to one of these cats and dogs looking for new homes at the Blue Cross centre in Wherstead?
