Traffic is slow on some roads this morning

Traffic collisions have caused delays across the region this morning.

The A143 in Stradishall was partially blocked near the B1063 junction, because of a collision at around 7.30am.

Two vehicles, a Ford Escort and a Citroen crashed, with an ambulance called to the scene.

Three people were seen by paramedics. One person was treated for neck pain, and all were discharged at the scene.

And in Essex, the A1124 Colchester Road in Wakes Colne was partially blocked because of an overturned car.

Traffic is currently queuing in both directions near Chappel Corner.

  • Having just travelled 'our' roads in the last two weeks at 'peak' travelling times, I suggest the people whom are responsible for any investment, upgrading or dare I suggest 'improvement' in our 'antiquated' so called Road Infrastructure need to actually see and experience what I have in the last two weeks !! We are paying £50 million a day to be a member of an UN Economic European Market, which we need to spend on our Road & Rail Infrastructure, go and drive in Europe, see for yourselves !, their roads are 'modern' and being well maintained with OUR Money !!
