Trains to Ipswich and Norwich are starting to return to normal after an earlier operating incident.

It’s after some lines were reopened following a person being hit by a train in the Seven Kings area of London.

All lines were blocked for a time immediately after the incident causing major disruption to services in and out of the capital.

Normal service could resume by around 11.30am but until then delays of up to 60 minutes should be expected.

Services are also being affected by a landslip between Manningtree and Ipswich.

Trains have to run at 20mph past the site of the landslip which happened several days ago but full repair work won’t take place until the weekend.

This problem is only affecting northbound trains and not those travelling towards London.
