There are delays reported to train services this morning

Commuters were facing some delays this morning because of problems in Ipswich and Norfolk.

A fault with the signalling system at Ipswich had led to problems on services travelling to and from the station.

All lines have now been re-opened but it is still being reported that there are some minor delays.

A fault with barriers at a level crossing between Norwich and Diss has resulted in trains running at reduced speed on all lines.

This has affected services between Norwich and London Liverpool Street, which may be delayed by up to 30 minutes.

A Greater Anglia spokesman said: “Network Rail engineers are working as quickly as possible to restore a normal service.”
