Slow moving traffic has been reported at a number of locations in the Ipswich area.

Reports of heavy traffic on the A12 northbound at Copdock interchange, the A1156 St Helen’s Street westbound between Grimwade and Street and Major’s Corner and the A1189 Nacton Road southbound between Ransomes Way and the Nacton interchange have all been made since 8am.

There are also reports of very slow traffic on the A1214 westbound in Kesgrave between Ropes Drive junction and Bell Lane and on the B1067 Bramford Road from the Sproughton Road junction to the A1214 Chevallier Street junction.

  • Wake up Ipswich Borough Council are you that blind you are destroying our town People are put off coming to Ipswich because of Ipswich traffic problems let the people sort it out I'm sure taxi drivers can sort it ?? And stop wasting our money on traffic lights

  • Maybe add some more traffic lights, that will sort it out! Flippin council need to be held accountable for all this. Bring back our roundabouts :-)
