Archant

Traffic is congested around a number of routes in and around Ipswich this morning.

There are delays reported on the A1189 Bixley Road in both directions between the Foxhall Road junction and the A1156 Felixstowe Road junction.

Traffic is also said to be queueing on the A137 Wherstead Road northbound between the Pannington Hall Lane and A14 junctions.

Further congestion has been reported on the A12 northbound between the Copdock interchange and junction 32b.

There is also very slow traffic on A1214 London Road into town between the A1071 junction and the A137 junction and the A1156 Norwich Road into town in Ipswich between Whitehouse Retail Park and Railway Bridge.

  • Funny that... Bixley Road is the road between both junctions so its pointless information. As for A1189 it continues into Health Road. Seems the star got the information elsewhere and resolved the road codes into names without thinking.
