Commuters can expect a hassle-free journey this morning as the region’s road and rail networks are running smoothly.
Suffolk and Essex police forces have reported no major accidents so far today.
People using the trains should also experience a service free from substantial delay.
The weather outlook for the east is for a dry morning with possibly some bright sunny intervals.
In the afternoon there may be some persistent rain which will spread northeastwards, turning heavy.
Maximum temperature will be 18C (64F). Tonight it will rain with some heavy showers which will clear away eastwards. Minimum temperature 13C (55F).
