A man was taken to hospital last night following a crash which left him with minor head injuries.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to Higham Road, Tuddenham, near Bury St Edmunds just before 12am.

A police spokeswoman said he suffered a fractured wrist and minor head injuries.

In a separate incident, crews were called to a chimney fire in Cotton, near Stowmarket, at around 9.10pm yesterday.

The fire, in Mendlesham Road, was under control at around 9.40pm.
