Police are appealing for information after the theft just after 3pm. The van was later found and recovered from St Andrews Place in Melton. The vehicle had been left unattended and open and as the Transit was driven from Ufford High Street a number of tools fell out of the back. These were also recovered.

Police are keen to trace a very slim man with a pale complexion, in his late teens, wearing a grey long-sleeved, possibly hooded, top who was seen near the vehicle.

If you have any information about who he is, or if you were in either location and have any information about this incident, please call PC Claire Roper at Suffolk Police by dialling 101, quoting reference WO/14/809.
