Update: 12-year-old girl uninjured after being hit by car in Ipswich

A 12-YEAR-OLD girl was not injured after being hit by a car in Ipswich this morning.

A blue Ford is reported to have collided with the child in Clapgate Lane, Ipswich at around 8.15am.

The girl was reported to be conscious and complaining of pain in hand and hip and an ambulance was called.

East of England Ambulance Service spokesman Richard Dunne said: “The child, after being assessed wasn’t injured so we advised and left them in the care of their parent.”
