A TEENAGER has been released on police bail after being arrested in connection with an alleged stabbing outside a shopping centre.
The 17-year-old was detained by police after officers were called to the Buttermarket in Ipswich around 3.30pm on Friday.
He has now been released to return to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre on March 5.
Police received a report that a boy had suffered a stab wound to his left side.
The boy was taken to Ipswich Hospital where he was treated and later discharged.
Police also received a report that a second 17-year-old boy was assaulted in Upper Brook Street, Ipswich, at around a similar time on the same day.
The boy suffered a facial injury and was treated at Ipswich Hospital.
