Rail users are again facing delays and cancellations on the line between Norwich and London.

This morning a freight train broke down in the Chelmsford area, blocking a line and causing a knock-on effect to later services.

Several services were cancelled including the 9am London to Norwich and 10am Norwich to London services.

Others were hit with delays of up to 60 minutes, affecting passengers in Ipswich, Colchester and Manningtree, amongst others.

Greater Anglia has said the train has now been moved out of the way and all lines have reopened.

However there will still be some delays while the railway recovers from the incident which are expected to last until 10am.
