Two fire crews from Dovercourt have dealt with an incident at a derelict building this evening.
The fire was reported when members of the public saw smoke coming from the property.
Firefighters were sent to the scene in Garland Road just after 4.30pm and fought the fire with one hose reel while wearing breathing apparatus.
The fire was put out by 5.25pm and crews then used a high pressure fan to clear the building of smoke.
An investigation will now be carried out to establish the cause of the blaze.
