Update: Man from Chelmsford charged with attempted robbery in Lowestoft

A 22-year-old man has been charged following an incident in Lowestoft on Friday evening (April 11).

Thomas Higman, of Fox Crescent, Chelmsford was arrested yesterday (Monday) and subsequently charged with attempted robbery and resisting arrest.

The attempted robbery charge relates to an incident in St Peters Street where an attempt was made to rob a man of his phone and a ring.

Higman is now due to appear at Lowestoft Magistrates Court today (Tuesday).
