A Hollesley Bay prisoner who failed to return from day release has been located and detained in Scotland.

Leslie Gall, aged 53, who is serving a life sentence for armed robbery, had failed to return to his work placement at a charity shop in Manningtree in Essex after lunch on Tuesday February 11.

Suffolk Police has been contacted today by Police Scotland in Edinburgh stating that Gall has been located and detained in the city and will be returned to prison system.
