Police are not treating a death as suspicious after the discovery of a body at the home of missing teenager Miller Redpath.
Officers found a body in the overgrown rear garden at the 18-year-old’s home address in Wenhaston, near Halesworth, on Thursday.
Police finished their enquiries at the property this afternoon and have announced they are not currently treating the death as suspicious.
The body was removed from the property and a Home Office post mortem examination was held on Friday, which concluded that the cause of death was unascertained.
Officers have not yet identified the deceased and further tests are required, but early indications suggest it is the body of Mr Redpath.
A police spokeswoman added: “Specialist officers are continuing to support Mr Redpath’s mother and a policing presence will remain in the area over the coming days to offer reassurance to the local community.”
Mr Redpath had not been seen since August 13.
