RAIL passengers travelling into the capital are facing delays of up to 15 minutes this morning.

Greater Anglia has reported congestion between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street due to earlier delays on the line.

The rail operator said the delays have been caused by late running freight trains and by poor rail conditions between Chelmsford, Billericay and Liverpool Street.

All services running through these stations are affected.
