ALL lanes have reopened following an accident on the A12 at Colchester.

Police were alerted after a Kia Picanto ploughed into the central reservation barrier on the northbound carriageway of the A12, close to the junction with the A120.

A police spokeswoman said the incident had closed the road. However all lanes have since reopened.
