Update: Lines reopened after engineering works delays

07:30 01 February 2013

OVER-RUNNING engineering works at Stowmarket have caused delays for commuters this morning.

Passengers travelling on Greater Anglia services from Ipswich to Cambridge, Peterborough and London Liverpool Street experienced severe delays and cancellations because of the problem.

Replacement buses and alternative routes were arranged for passengers.

All lines have now reopened but there are still some delays and cancellations.
