There are severe delays to rail services for Norwich, Ipswich and Clacton.
18.00 Norwich to Liverpool St - delayed at Hatfield Peverel
18.18 Liverpool St to Ipswich - delayed at Chelmsford; terminating at Colchester; no longer calls at Manningtree or Ipswich
18.20 Liverpool St to Harwich Int’l - delayed at Chelmsford
18.30 Liverpool St to Norwich - delayed at Chelmsford
18.32 Liverpool St to Walton-on-the-Naze - delayed at Chelmsford
18.38 Liverpool St to Ipswich - delayed at Ingatestone
18.48 Liverpool St to Clacton-on-Sea - delayed at Ingatestone
18.55 Colchester to Liverpool St - delayed between Witham and Chelmsford
19.08 Liverpool St to Ipswich - delayed at Chelmsford
19.52 Ipswich to Liverpool St - starting from Colchester; no longer calls at Ipswich or Manningtree
20.00 Colchester Town to Colchester - cancelled
20.33 Walton-on-the-Naze to Clacton-on-Sea - cancelled
Due to a passenger being taken ill on a train at Chelmsford many services have been delayed or cancelled.
The passenger has now been taken to hospital by an ambulance and all lines have reopened.
However delays through the area of up to 35 minutes will continue until around 9pm.
The 19.39 Colchester to Colchester Town and 20.00 Colchester Town to Colchester are both cancelled, as well as the 20.33 from Walton-on-the-Naze to Clacton-on-Sea.
The 18.18 London Liverpool Street to Ipswich service is being terminated at Colchester and the 19.52 Ipswich to London Liverpool Street will be starting from Colchester; neither service will now be calling at Manningtree or Ipswich.
Other services are subject to delays at short notice and some services to and from Cambridge have been cancelled due to a a member of the train crew not being available.
